Carneros

A 36,900 acre appellation which spans the southern part of both Napa and Sonoma counties. It is located between the Mayacamas Mountains and San Pablo Bay north of San Francisco. The area is known for its unique soil and climatic conditions. It is generally 10-15 degrees cooler than other parts of the counties and produces outstanding Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
